Adams Parachute Var

We have had another one of the people at Ahrex Hooks behind the vice. This time Soren Flarup or Dr. Hook as we call him, will guide you through one of his all-time favorite dryflies for his fishing in norwegian and swedish river and streams for grayling and brown trouts on the dryfly.

Soren tells about the fly that is due to the foam and parachute-style, is a very visible and super floater for fishing in fast currents which he prefers - combined with a contrast-colored wing the Adams Parachute Var. is often tied on his leader in the search for dryfly sipping trouts or graylings.

A classic Klinkhammer...

I'm sorry ... Klinkhammer variant, with floating vest ... go to Wikipedia and see what is written about the Adams dry fly ... and the way it looks the parachute variant. Please don't touch the centenarian Adams, you're challenging me. I have nothing personal with anyone.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
