Black Cormorant
The story goes this fly was first used by a young angler in a youth fly fishing competition.
The fly has many variations from the original which was simply a peacock herl body and black marabou wing.
This fly seems more popular in still water but I see it as also promising for rivers. The fly has qualities of a streamer and a classic wet fly and in small sizes like the 14 in my video.
The variation that caught my eye is from Makflies. Here is the link to his video. https://youtu.be/u2XK8A1_I1E
Recipe:

Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
