Here we will be tying the legendary fly Flæðarmús by one of Iceland's finest angler Siggi Pálsson. The fly is a great option for both stream and lake fishing and has a special meaning for anglers in Iceland since the name of it is taken from the ancient folklores. The fly is by far the best fly you can get for sea trout and it's great option in mirky water. Indeed one of my personal favourite flies to tie and fish with. Tying the fly my be a challenge since it's indeed not a fly for beginners for many reasons, it's complicated and the wing setup has to be done correctly. 100% recommend to keep bunch of these magical creatures in you boxes!

Thread: UNI 8/0 black.
Tail: Blue squirrel.
Mini hackle: Black ostrich.
Body: ½ silver chenille & ½ red wool.
Rib: UNI oval gold.
Beard: White buck tail + 3-4 strands of silver flash tinsel.
Wing: Red buck tail, 2 red cock feathers, 2 grizzly feathers.
Head: Black.
Eyes: Red painted with yellow eyeball.
