Harpa

Here we will be tying the Salmon fly Harpa. Harpa or Harpan is an excellent fly when it comes to fishing for salmon and sea trout. The fly was designed by my uncle Börkur Jónsson in the late 70's and was originally used first in the river Andakílsá with really good results. The fly is a great option for stream fishing, plus the fly catches both salmon and sea. It's a beautiful design in anyway and named after Börkur's daughter Harpa. Totally worth to keep few in your box!

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
