Orange Twist
This fly used to be a twist fly like the yellow Twist of Lemon, but it changed and eventually lost the typical twisted body. It has a normal tinsel body and a thorax of peacock herl, but looks much like the Twist of Lemon.

Trout! So it happened... I have just been browsing the earlier reports in this section, and have read my own stories about the miserable trout fishing the last two years. It seems that things have taken a turn to the better at last. The fish have been taking flies consistently. They are not big. The largest in the company of friends I fish with being a 4.5 kilo fish. Most have been less than 1 kilo, but on the other hand: there has been many.
Fishing the Muddler Minnow
The muddler can double as a serviceable grasshopper, cricket or even damselfly nymph. One can fish it dry and doped up, damp, wet and sunk.
