Fly fishing - Fish Better
Hi Folks, Has anyone had any expirience or know anything about the small Ross Beaver Meadow rods. I just ordered a 6'6" 2/3 from Just Reels. I am planning to make it my Brook Trout small stream rod. There is a good return policy if I can't stand it. I was just wondering if any of you had ever used one or know of a product review of the little toothpick. Happy Holidays

Glassbead Perletand Polystickle
Forums:
Patterns
Hi there! I tried a new dimension of flies to fill my boxes. The using of glassbeads was an idea from a friend, and i was surprised how simple to do. Here is one of the first flies, a variant of the good old polystickle. It is tied on a Hayabusa Black Nickel Size 6 to catch in sweet and salt everything that seems to be interested. Try the Polystickle, its easy, looks ok and it catches! Best wishes, Ostsee-Silber

How to carry around your big pike/bass flies ?
Forums:
Fly fishing - Fish Better
Hello to all, I am looking for some tips on how to carry big flies while fishing, untill now I have used plastic boxes with compartements, but I find these too bulky - and they don't fit in my new fly vest :? , I have heard that some people just chuck all their flies in a zip-lock bag , but when I try this I end up with a huge mess of hooks and hair. What do you use ?
