Hook: Edgar Sealey 1797B 1/0
Tag: Wide silver metal tinsel
Body: Orange floss
Rib: Narrow silver metal tinsel
Belly: White bucktail
Throat: White hackle fibers
Underwing: 4-6 strands of peacock herl
Wing: Black hackle flanked by slightly shorter green hackle
Shoulder: Gadwall flank
Cheek: Jungle cock
Head: Black (with Orange band)
Notes: The Green Drake is one of the lesser known Carrie Stevens streamers. The fly is a beautiful dark blend of black flanked by the green hackle and uses the gadwall flank for the shoulder, nicely defining the gill plate. If you can not find gadwall, then pintail, teal or mallard is a suitable substitution for the streamer.

Long story short
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
