Notes: Through Don's journey around the NFL, he has taken many techniques from the pioneers of the long fly. For the Houston streamer, Don calls upon Austin Hogan's half stripped feather method of combining color in the wing. The Texans joined the NFL in 2002 as an expansion team. The previous Houston team, the Oilers had since moved to Nashville, becoming the Tennessee Titans. Unfortunately, when the expansion team formed, the name Oilers wasn't available, and so the new moniker was chosen via an online survey or 5 narrowed down choices.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
