Tied by: Dwayne Miller
Originated by: Charles Langevin

Hook: Partridge CS15 #2/0
Thread: Red 8/0
Tail: Teal flank dyed green
Body: Silver flat tinsel
Rib: Silver oval tinsel
Throat: Teal flank dyed green
Wing: Yellow bucktail then red bucktail then yellow bucktail
Head: Red

Notes: The Mickey Finn has had a long and storied history. It is responsible for many patterns, Mickey Doodle (#191) and Mickey's Ghost (#156) are just a couple of the well known streamers that have emerged. Dwayne added a contrasting tail and throat of dark green teal to the iconic Finn to give it a new twist.

Thanks guys! This version is a great Salmon pattern,, particularly for fall Salmon as well as spring fish and its also a fantastic variation for Speckled trout. It's the only Mickey i have fished for a number of years now

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
