Tied by: Tom Fulton
Originated by: Tom Fulton

Hook: Mustad Chestertown 3300 #7
Thread: White 6/0 flat waxed
Tag: Gold flat tinsel
Tail: Golden pheasant crest
Body: 2 strand floss
Rib: Gold oval tinsel, gold embossed tinsel then gold oval tinsel
Belly: Golden Pheasant crest and Lady Amherst pheasant crest
Wing: Red bucktail then yellow bucktail then red bucktail
Topping: Golden pheasant crest
Horns: Macaw
Head: Black

Notes: This is the third streamer in Tom's series created to honor the brave members of the United States military. For the project, Tom had created hairwing versions of all of his patterns that were originally tied as featherwing flies. The original featherwing had a black ostrich collar behind the head and only used golden pheasant crest in the belly.

"We owe our soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines a debt of gratitude, and I thank you all for your service."

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
