Body: Embossed silver tinsel
Throat: Red hackle fibers
Underwing: A small bunch of grey squirrel hair
Wing: 2 grizzly hackles
Eye: Jungle cock
Head: Black
Notes: This is one of the three squirrel tail streamers originated by Ray Bergman. The streamer should be tied in smaller sizes and kept sparse. This was a popular streamer for fishing the early spring rainbow trout on the Gunnison River in Colorado. In that local, it is incorrectly referred to as the G.J. Streamer, named so after the angler who introduced the pattern received from Mr. Bergman. The streamer is useful for fishing high waters, and can be especially effective in the evening.
