Tied by: Bill Chandler
Originated by: Bill Chandler
Hook: Mustad 3907 A #2
Thread: Black
Body: Orange tinsel
Belly: Peacock herl, orange and white bucktail
Underwing: Red dyed golden pheasant crest
Under-shoulder: Red and black schlappen fibers
Throat: Red and black schlappen fibers
Wing: Orange variant hackles flanked by light dun hackle
Shoulder: Lemon wood duck
Eyes: Jungle cock
Head: Black
Notes: This is Bill's compliment pattern to the Sebago Sunrise. The two patterns share much of the same dressing with the wing being the major difference between them. Once again, one of Whiting's beautiful Unique Variant hackles are used for the wing, giving this pattern quite an exotic look.

Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.

Outstanding tie. I especially like the colors used, and materials too. Wonderfully tyed. A winner!
