For those not knowing: the locations are coastal spots in Denmark.

Olle,

Udsholdt is a very nice place to fish - quite popular and sometimes crowded, but with fine conditions when the wind isn't on.

Right now it's getting really warm here, and I would recommend trying early mornings and evenings. Sunrise and sunset is your best bet for sea trout. There might still be a few garfish around, but most have gone now. If you walk along the beach in dayight, don't forget to watch out for mullet. We haven't really seen any yet, but any day now...

And remember to look before you wade. In the morning you will sometimes have fish all into the shallow water close to the beach. Walk along the beach and keep an eye on the water. These fish will often show themselves.

If the wind turns west or any northern direction, don't bother. The northern beaches will become dirty very quickly and stay so for days after hard winds.

Good luck!

Martin

Should your run into mullets, leave a note. I looks like my last fishing season in Denmark,
I´d be glad to hook at least one

@ martin

thanks for the sunset hours tip, you were so right. Caught my first three seatrout and a garfish in just a few hours fishing. I wrote some words about it but it is in dutch so for the dutch people here, it s on www.vliegvissers.nl

@ vanuz

Sorry m8 did look for mullets for you (and myself ofcourse) but didn't see any. When i was walking in the harbour of Gilleleje at dinner time i thought i saw a mullet but id turnd out to be a rather large seatrout :). Some locals told me also they should be there any day now.

...glad you were lucky to hook some fish. There´s many regular Gilleleje visitors trying luck for days without even seeing a single splash!
I´ll check the beach tomorrow, anyone want to join?

North Sealand...

Arrived at 4 a.m., probably too late as the sun was just about to rise. Zero trip, but a lovely morning, though.

hornbaek? hmmm...

Well, ... extremely difficult to guess the spot you fished, there´s only the sea and the sun... It could have been anywhere. But good pics, though.
The "soup" was pretty muddy when I got there, visibility less than 30 cm... :?

Oh if you wanna know where i was this one should do the trick  the land/hills is sweden. It was taken at sunrise with a little north-eastern wind and the water was cristal clear. But i didn't see any action that morning, evenings were better for me.
