Fishing Fyn and surroundings

The forums are very quiet

The Global FlyFisher forum has existed for almost as long as the site, and the oldest posts are more than 20 years old. Forums aren't what they used to be. Social media has taken over a lot of their roles, and the GFF forum is very quiet ... to put it mildly.
We keep everything online for the sake of history, and preserve the posts for as long as possible, but as you will see, quite a few of them aren't in a good shape, but rely on old images hosted elsewhere, which are no longer available, odd codes from old systems and much more, which can't be shown in a decent way.
But the posts are here, and you can - if you insist - start new threads and reply to old ones. But don't stay awake waiting for replies, because they are unfortunately few and far apart.

Hello guys,

I do have some questions about fly fishing on fyn in march or april.
Would you recomment the west os the east coast of fyn? On my last trip one danish person told me that the west coast is better in september and october and the east coast is better in march and april. What is your opinion? Would you sign that?

I would like to have a week of fishing with a few friends of mine and we do not really know where to go at which time...
Some say Odense Fjorg should be great in march - the others say the whole west coast should be brilliant to that time.

Do you have connections to guides or locals who can introduce us to the fishery on fyn and show us also other places which are not listed in the book "fishing guide fyn"?

Or do you have special tips for me and my friends?

Greetings from the very thankful

horstmann

Long story short

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
