Winter euro perch again in DK! Where?

The forums are very quiet

The Global FlyFisher forum has existed for almost as long as the site, and the oldest posts are more than 20 years old. Forums aren't what they used to be. Social media has taken over a lot of their roles, and the GFF forum is very quiet ... to put it mildly.
We keep everything online for the sake of history, and preserve the posts for as long as possible, but as you will see, quite a few of them aren't in a good shape, but rely on old images hosted elsewhere, which are no longer available, odd codes from old systems and much more, which can't be shown in a decent way.
But the posts are here, and you can - if you insist - start new threads and reply to old ones. But don't stay awake waiting for replies, because they are unfortunately few and far apart.
Martin

I am once again in Denmark, but Martin's latest blog entry is not something I wanted to read on my first day! 😄 Anyway, last year I posted Flyfishing for perch and the responses on technique and fly patterns were very helpful. Thanks once to those who contributed. Beside targeting sea trout in some of the planned future outings, I want to fish for these spiny critters again, simply because I think they are quite interesting to look at. The last couple of seasons we've focused mainly on fishing at Tryggevaelle River, so I would like to give some other waters a try this year. Anyone wants to recommend a lake/slough/river/brackish water around Eastern Denmark?

For those who are interested in an update from BC, Canada. We had a fantastic fall salmon season this year, especially on the coho salmon. My girlfriend Nina came over in early November and caught her first ever coho salmon, and it just happened to be one of the biggest coho salmon that I have ever seen. It will be very hard to beat this one in the rest of her fishing days. 😉

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
