Originated by: Steve Adams
Source: Smelt Fly Patterns: Donald A. Wilson (1996), Pg. 33
Hook: Mustad 36808 #6
Thread: Black 8/0
Body: Silver holographic flat tinsel
Belly: White bucktail
Wing: Green bucktail then 6-8 peacock herls
Throat: Red hackle fibers
Eye: Jungle cock nail
Head: Black
Notes: Steves Adams originated the pattern and named the fly after his father's camp on Seymour Lake. Darren modified the pattern by using a flat tinsel instead of the prescribed holographic braid. Holographic material was used to mimic the natural baitfish color. The patten has also been found to be productive tied in gray and purple version.
