Notes: Tied as a tribute to this wonderful region. The Adirondack mountains are located in north eastern New York state and contain about 120 summits and thousands of streams, creeks and rivers. It would take a lifetime to explore all the fishing the area has to offer. Lake Placid and the Au Sable river lie within the boundaries of the park and there is a dedicated 6.5 mile stretch of the west branch designated a bait-free catch and release water.
