Bubbleback Chironomid

I've finally gotten some Solarez UV Resin and this is the first (hopefully of many) videos of fly tying with resin I'll be posting on the channel. The beads come via FlyGuys.net and I've seen them for sale on sites like Aliexpress.
This is really a simple fly pattern, but chironomid flies have saved many days out on the water for me. The flies are great for fly fishing for trout in lakes but also do really well with panfish species like bluegill, sunfish and perch.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through Patreon or Ko-fi. Both offer PayPal payments.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
