The Perfect Back Country River

Jack Kos and I head into the hills of the lower North Island back country for a quick overnight trip.

High wind and rain the night before, meant it was a slow, and late start, but the following day dawned fine with near perfect conditions for spotting fish in the gin-clear, flood-prone water.

The fish we're in generally good condition with many running over 6lbs and were eager to rise to the dry.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
