Tuffleye...

I like epoxy...
'been using it for a long time...
Tuffleye is an acrylic alternative with an 30 second "blue light" cure...
So far so good with an interesting learning curve...
Tuffleye may not replace epoxy but it has some curiously ingenious applications...

As it was entered as an international sea trout record, scale samples had to be sent so that if could either be verified as a salmon or sea trout.

So it was verified by those that can, as a salmon and not a record breaking sea trout.

I will be traveling

I will be traveling to Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Between July15- August20. I live in Minnesota USA. I would really like to fish for several different species of bream. I have a fishing guide service in Minnesota, fishing Bass Largemouth and Smallmouth, Muskies, Northern Pike, and Walleye. I enjoy fishing bream (sunfish) and Crappie with a fly rod.
I would like to learn as much about fish species located near the coast. Any information will be of great help in planning my holiday.

Great photo! The seabass fibe has kicked in. Soon the watertemperature will rise along the Dutch coast and seabass will cruise our waters again after along winter.
Hopefully in April we can start fishing for them, by boat and in the bellyboat.

If the tandemstreame

If the tandemstreamer was to be used for pike, I would opt for a "bite off" free connection between the two hooks. This could be established by attaching a swivel plus connector to the bend of the first hook with fine iron- or copper wire. Ty off in the normal way, use headcement and ready. On top of that it does make one flexibel in tactics, because it enables you to fish a mono streamer of to mount to big streamers in a row. Sometimes big pike love those prey lining up........

superglue becomes stiff, so I am using AquaSeal og other flexible-when-dry-glue. Here I am using a Loon knot glue.

Very nice description of how to tie this classic dry fly. Once you master the simple techniques described, you will love tying this pattern. I tie more of these than almost any other dry fly pattern.

I fish primarily on the danish coast ant my overall favorite is a good big hairy mudler for nightfishing.....but in the daytime another favorite is "Jorgens Demon"......

Just tied a bunch of "Epoxy Miracles" in green and in brownish - so maybe a new favorite is comin' up 😄

Otherwise a very funny clip and an amazing feat considering it was landed on a size 12 double fly and 0.25mm leader! It took 2.5 hours to land.
