There are no plans for adding further instructions right now. This is an old article from an outside contributor, and I doubt we can urge the aouthor to supply step-by-step instructions. The fly is fairly simple, and by studying the images and the materials list you can basically figure out how to tie it. Maybe something will emerge, so keep an eye out.

My experience is that if you can find Polar Bear (still available in Canada) it out fishes any other wing material on Black ghosts by a substantial margin. The other option is human hair from my daughter or some other ash blonde (it works)
It is nice to see an old pattern from my nymph box on the web. I can vouch for the effectiveness of this dressing from many parts of Europe, Iceland, Pharoe Isles, all over Scotland (the land of my birth till my mid forties), England, Wales and here in California. I would not feel right if they were not in my box. Fish them with confidence.
Anyway you could include instructions. Not that good at tying so would appreciate the help
I've been taking a careful look at Craig's artwork. Gees, I've never seen a fish artist 'get' fish like he does. The attitude, the energy, the moment, it's all there ... wow!

Wow! This is our most brave fish in to South America! From Venezuela to Argentina, and entire Brazil, this is a first predator fish of all kids! If this fish had appeared in the northern hemisphere, would complete lines of equipment for him!

I think 2 rpm will be just fine, and if I were you I'd just go ahead and build the rotor with the motor you have there. I doubt that you will have any problems with that.

I have a question I have found a disco ball motor in my garage and on the box it says 2 rpm is that good enough or maybe more? You said it had to be fast enough to not make epoxy sag and not to fast to spin the epoxy off! so I'm wondering should I keep it or buy something faster?
In my opinion Craig is the number one fish artist in the world. Buy one of his paintings now if you can because soon they will be worth a lot more!

The bad part of this film is that, where they are fishing the steelhead are spawning, so they are fishing reds. Not cool !!

Yellow fever? Ive got it! But why cant catch 1 in the VAAL?!? Ive tried several times.All the way from Newcastle to the vall is a long trip. What would b the ideal times, weather and bait?? And besides the fly fishing how else could i make a "yellow rig"?? Any information or help is apprecited. Thanx guys.
Flyboy's comments are utterly unspeakable and I suggest that in Fiordland there are quite a few "Good ol Boys" toting heavy fire power to warrent descretion from the chopper boys. Most keep at least 500m off the deck and are very wary of men or women standing in water up to their chests waving sticks. This tactic is often done by trampers too as it gives relief from sandflies. In Canterbury a naughty ploy is to sneak up on unsuspecting untended choppers and superglue large rocks to one skid. Take offs can be quite challenging I am told!

In my opinion fishing is fishing, and this is just another form of "fly" fishing. Again in my opinion, the defining difference between Polish/Czech nymphing and American "old school" high sticking is the consistent "contact" with the team of nymphs, the leader builds, rod lengths and actions, and of course the difference in the flies themselves.
Also, (and again--just my opinion) any "fly fisher" that has ever walked back to the car after a day of fly fishing and asked his buddy "how'd you do?" is a competition angler--methinks. :)
What about hiring helicopters getting me to the world's best fishing spots? Why try if I can't fly? Only people with thousands of dollars to spend flagrantly catch fish. And it's always better to get your pilot to land 500m upstream from the other anglers you see on approach. They appreciate you letting them know that you will be just upstream so they can still have time in their day to find somewhere else to fish or maybe they can now relax after their 10 hour hike because they won't hav any fish to worry about. Obviously, people who have time to hike in to these places have little to offer the world and those in choppers are the real movers & shakers, so they should be honored and given way.
