If you can choose one color for your fly, it must be black, and if you can only choose one model, it must be the classic Wooly Bugger. It's a big claim – but the black Wooly Bugger could well be the most universal and best all-round fly of all. It originally imitates a leech, but the swimming movement in the water and the woolly appearance have proven time and time again to be deadly effective in both saltwater and freshwater aswell as running or stillwater, and as an imitation for both insects and baitfish.
In this video, Mo will give his take on one of his all-around favorites, The Black Leggy Leech.
