Last week I had the pleasure to attend the Tuesday Night Fly Tyerz Anony-mouse winter tying session @ Fishing the Cape in Harwich...
The guest speaker and phellow tyer was the Right Honourable Ron Lasko...
A bit out of my salt water element, Ron spoke about his soon to be released book "A Tale of Two Rivers"... [re: Mashpee River & Quashnet River]
The content, presentation, and insight was inspired and brilliant...
Ron addressed the Sea Run Trout opportunities on the Cape, the history, entomology, and phlyz for this treasure...
The "bugs & hatches" was foreign to me but the part about herring fry caught my attention...
[Ron's book will be available in June... if you get one thru the shop, it will be signed]
I departed the fix with some phuzzie notions cookin' off in my noggin that needed to be "persued"...
I told Chris, the shop manager and he was kind enough to fix me up with some #10 Streamer Hooks... [again, out of my element...]
Over the course of the phollowing week I played around with some ideas and came up with what seems appropriate for your's truly...
"Welded SmallPhryz"...
a work in progress...
all about 2" on #10 Streamer Hooks... 'here are a phew of the gaggle... _________________ PeteGray
