DIY shanks

Making shanks for non-rotary vises:
1) Cut the wire 2.5 times the desired shank length
2) Grab the wire at one shank length
3) Bend to a U
4) & 5) Bend the legs to cross
6) Use pliers to straighten legs, keeping the eye
7) Make eye symmetrical
8) Bend eye up if desired
9) Bend longer leg perpendicular (cut off when fly is done)
