Today is GFF day

Today I will try to catch up with a ton of GFF stuff that I have had laying around for months

The past couple of months have been a work hell as I have indicated several times. I like to work. Luckily I have a job that I thrive with. But I just hate working too much. I prefer it when work fills up 2-3 day a week, making me enough money to live, but leaving me enough time to do other things.

The recent period has been a 7-days-a-week period. As a customer wrote to me one night half past midnight: "It's sad that I'm writing work mails at this hour. But what is just as sad is that you will read it and reply before you go to bed!". And true enough: both my work partner and I had read and replied to the mail

Well, that period is over now, and my first reaction has been to to fishing. April was really nice here, but May has been a mixed blessing until now. These past few days have been cloudy and rainy, and today it seems to be rain and wind all day. I went out a few hours yesterday, and would have gone today, which is a national holiday, had it not been for the weather.

Since the day is free and I expect little action on he work front, it is time to finish all the stuff I have filling my harddisk and the server and get it published.

You can expect:
- A rod building epos by Jan-Ole Willers from Germany
- A portrait of South African artist Chris Bladen by Korrie Bros, also SA
- A couple of patterns - the salmon fly Sunray Shadow and maybe the Bloody Butcher
- An awful lot of reviews - books and DVD's

I will probably also get time to start a few new things like more on fishing photography, something about rod anatomy,

A few more things are waiting behind the scenes, but I won't get time to look at them today.

From yesterday's rainy fishing
