We do books too, and if you buy them you make us happier
In spite of the quiet summer we've had here on the Global FlyFisher there has been a bit of activity. I have been working on a book with some of my best sea trout pictures, and this is it.
This is a beautiful 8*10 inches 20*25 centimeters book with stunning images of Scandinavian seatrout fishing shot by me—GFF partner Martin Joergensen. Some of them you will recognize from the site, but most have not been published before.
The book has been produced by me and is self published and printed on demand. For each book you buy, 5 US$ will go to The Global FlyFisher and the rest will cover the production of the book, postage and handling and go to Blurb—the publishing company.
The easiest (and for now only) way to buy these books is to order them directly from Blurb, where they are printed and shipped one at the time (print-on-demand) as orders come in. You simply click on the link under the previews below. We have no books that we can mail, so order from Blurb.
Below you can see a complete low rez preview of the book. The book is 118 pages stuffed with stunning pictures. You can order it on the Blurb web site and prices start at 56 USD without postage for the paperback version. We don't set the prices ... Blurb does, and there's no profit in it for GFF.
I made an other book earlier this year as a souvenir from my trip to British Columbia, and that is also for sale through Blurb. This has been printed in an even more lavish format, measuring a whooping 13×11 inches or 33×28 centimeters. A true coffee table book, with some amazing pictures from a very nice trip to Canada. This was originally made as a private project, but should be generally interesting to any fly angler.
But you can buy my latest book on Baltic sea trout flies, which has actually been selling quite well. Read more here.
You can read a bit about how I made the books on my photo site 500th.net.
