Bob, your Black Ghost looks very cool and attractive, love it. Don and Bob, your BGs look very good to me...
Thank you Gary, I appreciate your kind comments. I have started a new folder on my computer to hold lots of streamers!!! :)
Thank you so much Avril. Just like your recent variation, isn't it wonderful what you can do when tying streamers? I look forward to your streamers
Doug, Thank you for your comments. The hard work was done by Darren Mac Eachern, I am just here for the ride. I must say that each day has been exciting, like a continuos Christmas with a new present each day :)
Kelly My friend, I am excited about seeing your streamer again when it becomes your turn. This streamer has been very productive for Land Locked Salmon.
Dave: The Manager is a wonderful , colorful fly. I will be tying a couple for spring fishing. The 365 project is a great way to get a few new patterns. I love tying them, and will continue as long as I can. Where can I get Icelandic Sheep Hair. Most all of our shop's are closing one by one here in Maine. Charlie
Hello Charlie, happy that you liked this streamer, it has stood the test of time. As for the Icelandic Sheep Hair, not to worry, I will pop some into the mail for you. Can't wait to use the Deer Antler Bodkin that arrived on Saturday, what a nice surprise :)
Just bought one too and hope to be as equally satisfied and impressed. Thanks for the review
Hello!
I have been tying E.P. style baitfish flies for a few years now and they have produced a lot of good fish for me and I luv them, But your flies look absolutly awesome and i am very anxious to start using them and tying them aswell.
BEAUTIFUL WORK!!!
One of my favorite fishing and guide books, ever. After his book signing in a local store I was able to talk him into trying tenkara which is a great technique for RMNP. Maybe there will be some tankara addition in edition no. 2?
Re Mickey Finn, I have caught Walleye, Pike and Small mouth bass on it. My first was a 29 1/2" 10lb Walleye I wont go anywhere without them !
Great Streamers !
i actually had to stop watching 2 minutes in because that song was so annoying.
Thank you so much for this website. I get cabin fever every winter, but I finally started fly tying this year, and your videos (and video recommendations) are wonderful. God bless!
Thanks for dropping by Jan. Hope that you are enjoying the streamers posted so far.
If you ever see another one for sale Darren let me know I want one
Hey Gary
I think Mike has a few for sale. Email me and I'll put you in touch. He also mentioned that his second volume would be available later this year. Fingers crossed.
David, now that is an attention getter for sure! Beautiful work my friend!!
David - What a great project you have taken on.... Today's fly as well as all the flies to date have been beautiful, interesting and a joy to look forward to each day...
Thank you for all your efforts, Doug.
Dave, Love the color combinations in this fly. Great tie. I think I'm catching the streamer bug. No one told me it was contagious. LOL
Love the pattern Dave I better order more hooks as I see 365 new streamers I am going to want to tie. Thanks for sharing it
I haven't got "Fishy's" book, 'Fishy's Favorites', but I did get his book, 'Fly Tying with Common Household
Materials', which I really love! I can't wait to get Fishy's Favorite Book too. I also watched some of his videos
on fly tying and I really thought they were great. I love how he uses flies out of materials not bought in a fly shop!
Thanks Jay! I hope you get a Facebook account. I think it would be a hit! Thanks again! Tom S. :)
I really love the colors in this fly, the wing, the red throat and the red tag on the body...Beautiful fly.
… I have a small favor to ask.
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
