Please don't visit and give your money to Paws Up. The ownership of Paws Up has no concern for the land or the local people. Paws Up was ruled against in Montana Supreme Court because they tried to bilk the locals out of money as well as for ignoring local water and environmental regulations. They are not good people and you should not give them your money.

Hi Davie,
your streamer looks nice, I especially like the red dyed teal flank shoulders. Did you dye your feathers? If not, where can I get it? Surely not in Czech fly shop...:-(((

Geoff,
What kind of fly are we talking about? I can find a dry fly called Henshaws Old Faithful, which has a green body. The materials are:
Hook: Size 14 2XL Dry Fly Hook
Thread: 6/0 black
Tail: Fibers from pheasant rump feather
Body: Peacock green chenille
Wing: Pheasant Rump Feather
Hackle: Light Blue Dun

Very nice Darren. I can see this working in early morning, or later, right at dusk! I like the color combos, sweet tie.

Adam,
The system with one or two sliding rings and no thread or locking mechanism is quite common on light fly rods. You simply press the ring or rings onto the foot of the fly reel, and it will sit there. The load or pressure is usually small on these light rods, and the reel should be secure enough.

want to use my grandfather's fly fishing rod and i don't see any nut that you spin to lock reel in place. it is a airex air glass rod light cat no. 221 in general do they make rods where the cork end of the rod just uses two press fit fittings to hold reel in place

BTW, what does it mean ZEBULON? Or is that just a name for the fly of yours? Thanx Petr
