Very easy
- Cut a thin strip from a sheet of adhesive lead foil and wrap it along the shank in touching turns. Add another one or two strips along the top to add weight to turn the worm hook point up in the water.
- Burnish the foil smooth with the side of a dubbing needle, run on the thread at the hook eye and cover the foil in thread until the underbody is smooth.
- Cut the end of a length of bead tube at an angle and tie in at the bend with the cut surface against the hook.
- Wind the tube forward in butting turns and tie in behind the eye.
- Cut off the waste end, wind a small head, whip finish and varnish the head.
