Cliff is an engineer who worked up to age 75 but was able to get some fly fishing in all along the way. Around home near Atlanta his fishing has mainly been for bass and bluegills with a few trips to the trout streams in North Georgia. For years he took his flats boat to Florida's West coast for redfish, speckled trout and snook. Cliff has fly fished in several Western states including Alaska and overseas in Scotland, Ireland and New Zealand (26 inch rainbow out of the Tongariro River on his own). His days of jumping around on slippery rocks or keeping balanced in a tossing boat are over. So, he just casts with his old Scott rod and a new 11 foot two-handed rod off the dock on the little lake where he lives. Recently, he spends his afternoons looking for what he lost that morning.

The GFF money box

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
