A24 Mojo Jig Nymph

No comments yet

At the beginning of the season, the most important thing is to offer trout a truly effective fly — one with a natural, universal colour that matches the insects found in early spring. Rusty yellow, grey, and olive are the shades we most often see on aquatic insects in March, April, and May.

When we use a material that blends these colours, we get a fly that can fool even the most selective and suspicious trout. Mojo Yarn A24 is exactly such a blend — a perfectly balanced mix that has been tested and refined over time until it reached its final colour.

I’ve fished this fly and this material in waters across Slovenia, Romania, Poland, and Slovakia, and the results have been consistently excellent. The pattern I’m sharing today is one of the most effective A24 Mojo Yarn flies you can tie.
Have fun and enjoy tying it, of course, if you like it :)

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
