The original Ally Shrimp is tied by scottish angler Allastair "Ally" Gowans in the 1980's, the Ally Shrimp has produced countless of Salmon in rivers across scandinavia and Scotland. Along side the Sunray shadow it is a crucial fly in your flybox.
Here it is tied as a modern variation and as a tube fly.
