Brassie

In this instructional video you will see the step by step process of tying a Brassie pattern. This fly pattern has been around for some time now and is still very effective. It can be tied in many different colors by just changing the color of wire you are using. Everyone should have a couple of these in there box just in case.

Materials:
Hook: Daiichi 1560 #16
Thread: UTC 70 Black
Abdomen: Ultra Wire Brassie Amber
Thorax: Peacock Herl

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
