Kite's Imperial

Oliver Kite's Netheravon Impressionist Dry Fly. This is a video on the late Oliver Kite's famous dry fly pattern. I will tie the original pattern as designed and then tie a second option with CDC as a substitute for Heron herl.

This is a great all around pattern for many mayfly species. Kite only changed the size down for warmer weather and lightened the tail hackle.
