Mr. Edwards taught me how to tie flies
I was the only one in my small village who tied flies, so it was with the step-by-step tying instructions he published in an English magazine and later, thanks to VHS videos, that I learned many techniques for tying trout flies. A master for me.
He inspired a lot of people

Oliver did inspire a lot of people - you obviously ... and me too. I met him several times, and always learned a lot from him, and like you I swallowed his videos (VHS and DVD's) and stil love his book Flytyers Masterclass.
A true fly tying legend.

I agree with you, Martin. Unfortunately, I'll never have the chance to meet him… I carefully preserve some magazines, a signed copy of Flytyer's Masterclass, and some fly-tying products under his name, sold by Partridge few years ago.
