Tabou Caddis, Holsinger's Fly Shop

Here is a slightly different way to tie the Tabou Caddis than the standard pattern. I tie it slightly different in that I leave out the ribbing and use some extra chickabou feathers to get the look that I desired. That's the great thing about fly tying you may not always have the "standard" materials or know all the techniques but that doesn't mean the fish will like it any less. Hope you enjoy it and you can get the Soft Hackle Chickabou capes to tie this fly on our website @ And as always please like us on facebook and subscribe to our YouTube Channel.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through Patreon or Ko-fi. Both offer PayPal payments.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
