Electric Sunray

No comments yet

In this video, Ronny Lagoni Thomsen ties a salmon fly he has great confidence in. The fly is inspired by the classic Sunray Shadow pattern, but with an added twist: it’s weighted with a Pro Conehead, giving it a touch of weight and — more importantly — creating subtle turbulence around the long wing.

The underwing is tied with a slightly stiffer flash material, helping to lift and support the long polar fox wing.
The result is a beautiful and simple salmon fly, perfectly suited for the coming season.Tube: Pro Microtube Black

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
