KENDJAM is a thrilling flyfishing film capturing my and my friend and film-makers Vaidas Uselis expedition to the remote Kendjam in the Brazilian Amazon.
Set against the backdrop of a 12 million-hectare forest, this premium jungle lodge offers a luxurious retreat amidst nature. The film highlights the technical nuances of flyfishing in the Iriri River, featuring diverse species like peacock bass and pacu.
Amid encounters with jaguars and anacondas, the story emphasizes sustainable tourism through the Untamed Angling concept, showcasing a partnership with the Kayapó Tribe to preserve their land and culture. KENDJAM is not just about fishing; it's a riveting celebration of nature, culture, and the enduring legacy of the Kayapó warriors in safeguarding the Amazon.
