Krogsgaard No. 9

Classic wet fly tied by John Lind Rasmussen. The nine flies in The Krogsgaard Series are some of the most famous Danish flies, and was originated nearly hundred years ago. This series of flies was designed by Hardy Bros. England – but the British designs were based on a large survey of the insects that were common in Jutlandic streams hosting trout and grayling. Olaf Krogsgaard and J. Kr. Findal did this work in collaboration. This one, the No. 9 is probably the most popular fly in the series, and will catch trout, grayling, sea trout and salmon.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
