Miguel Blanco Blazquez - Shuttlecock Style Pattern
Hello all...in Europe and especially in Spain Miguel needs no intro but I think those in the US should take a look at his channel and various outlets on social media.
This link takes you to his tying of the pattern and story about the name etc.
It is in Spanish but you can hit the "CC" for closed captioning and choose auto-translate to English and it does a really good job.

The pattern is a tiny shuttlecock/cripple style mash up with real silk forming the body materials. Silk has been and continues to play a key role for many Spanish fly anglers and being a fan of silk I am obviously a fan.
I don't tie it with the same materials as Miguel other than CDC but you will get the idea of the concept and you can alter the colors, hook shape, size, etc as you see fit.
In my part of the world we are close to being warm enough for the first hatches that move trout up off the bottom and in my world they are typically very small and very dark in color.
Enjoy!
