Perch fishing with worms and float has always had a special place in Bårds heart, and he is terribly jealous when Lars an October in Oslo Fjord sets new unofficial Norwegian record for sea bass. He immediately orders a trip to Egypt with the goal of capturing a huge Nile Perch and thus knocking Lars off the board. After a bit hit & miss on the Nile, and history's worst bargain attempt, the boys take the train to the world's largest artificial lake, Lake Nasser, where the really huge Nile Perch live.
