Bromanodell beta reel, any user on forum?
Forums:
Hi
Could anybody help me with that reel? I love Scandinavian design ideas and the thing is tempting. Did anybody experienced those reels?

Help in what way?
I haven't tried the reels, but they look quite nice. My guess is that they are expensive, but I can't find prices anywhere.
None of the distributors on BromannoDell's home page have the reels listed.
You may want to try contacting B&D directly.

Hi Martin
Hi Martin
I know UK retailer(the reel you saw on the BD website has different design-2006) an price 150 pounds. It looks nice but many things(e.g. A.Jolie  ) do on the internet. I meant if there is someone who uses beta reel and can advise me if they suits my needs. I got no answer from BD to my e-mail. If you want to take look there is on-line shop.

P.S.
I don't forget the report from Mongolia and I'll try to finish it this weekend

Michal
Michal,
Michal,
I guessed that was what you meant!
I have seen a DVD with the people behind BromannoDell, and they ARE real people, but it sure is annoying when operations like this do not return your emails.
The brand is really rare. I have never seen the products in any shops - on or offline.
Personally I'd go for something well known and proven. My current personal favorite bang-for-the-buck reel is my Okuma Helios, which can be had for about 150 US$ - a steal if you ask me. This is a real quality reel, nice to look at and very well made.

Hi Martin!
Hi Martin!
I'll check the helios option. Thank you. I'm looking for a reel that would serve me well in my trip to NZ. And survive raibow trout on the run. I just got the message from someone in Taupo that trout emptied his reel in seconds including backing. I don't want to see nuts and bolts flying around while hooking a fish of life.
Regards
Michal,
Michal,
The Helios will do well. I have used it for my sea trout fishing, for pike and for Pacific salmon, never maintained it other than an occasional rinse and the brake and the reel as a whole still works like a charm.
This is a very well constructed reel. May seem "ordinary" and a bit boring, but it easily matches the best reels I have tried.
I have seen it in three sizes, and the largest one holds 150 yards of backing. It will take a brutal rainbow to empty that!

There are many reviews on
There are many reviews on-line recommending the reel but I cannot fing the retailer in UK or even i Europe.
Michal,
Michal,
You can find the reel several places online.
A Google search gave me the following and many more:

Hope this helps

Just on time! ! I
Just on time! ! I went for vision koma but just managed to cancel an order. I wish I was as good angler as you are reel hunter :) . Which model you recommend for WF6F+100 meters 20lb backing? I need to say I was misled many times about reel capacity by on-line info. Sometimes is just enough space. Thank you for all you help!
Michal
Michal,
Michal,
Vision Koma is also a fine reel, but I honestly think the Okuma is way better.
Mine is rated for a 7 weight line and is quite large, but very nice and light.
There's a 5/6 and a 7/8 model. The capacity is as promised. The 5/6 model holds a 6wt + 50 meters of backing, so I'd think the 7/8 will be good for you.
Martin
Thank you once again Michal
Thank you once again
