Vossler DC3 \

The forums are very quiet

The Global FlyFisher forum has existed for almost as long as the site, and the oldest posts are more than 20 years old. Forums aren't what they used to be. Social media has taken over a lot of their roles, and the GFF form is very quiet ... to put it mildly.
We keep everything online for the sake of history, and preserve the posts for as long as possible, but as you will see, quite a few of them aren't in a good shape, but rely on old images hosted elsewhere, which are no longer available, odd codes from old systems and much more, which can't be shown in a decent way.
But the posts are here, and you can - if you insist - start new threads. But don't stay awake waiting for replies, because they are unfortunately few and far apart.

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to locate a Vossler DC3 "Standard Spool" in Titanium. Does anybody know of any stockists in/around Scandinavia?

I've tried the UK but everyone seems to be out of stock and no luck in Norway either!

I would like to have the spool before the GFF 08 Summit, so I can have all my equipment and lines ready! Worse case scenario would be to buy one on Fyn if anyone knows of any stockists on the island?

Any help would be appreciated

Regards
Jonathan
p.s. see you at the summit :D

Hi,

maybe you should try in good old Germany, either with Mr. Vosseler himself (It is said that they do good service even to end customers, can't say - don't own any of their things) or some of the better dealers in Germany (Rudi Heger for example).

Cheers,
Thomas

Hi Jonathan,

I would have to agreee with T.Z., I did buisness directly with Vossler last year, and was very pleased with their customer service.

Just give them a call.

See ya at the summit

Paul

Hi Paul,

I've already tried the contact form on the webpage, but had no reply.

However... yesterday I got the direct telephone number for Vosseler off their Norwegian distributor, I have now spoken to them directly so hopefully everything will be sorted.

Thanks for your help.

Since you got this far …

The GFF money box

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
See more details about what you can do to help in this blog post.

The Global FlyFisher was updated to a new publishing system early March 2025, and there may still be a few glitches while the last bits get fixed. If you meet anything that doesn't work, please let me know.
