It seems that the Global FlyFisher has hit a gold ore of content, and already this far in January, I have added five new articles with more to come, and in December it was eight. Add to that three blog posts, a review and more than 80 videos in the same time, and you get a publishing rate, which is higher than it has been for a long time. If you want to check out a fun section on GFF, try going to the "Heartbeat" page, which shows the content in a bar chart. It might sound a little boring, but it's actually quite entertaining to go back through the years and see what was published back then. Since 1994 - that's 26 years BTW - we have published 16,057 entries, amounting to 1.7 per day or 12 per week. Quite impressing if I may say it myself. So far this month it has been a hopper pattern, tips to tying better flies, a salmon pattern, something about using bead chain and a really crazy contraption for pike. See all the links below. I have a couple more articles in the pipeline, but as always I urge you to consider contributing if you have something fly tying or fly fishing related that you want to share. Feel free to contact me. Write me on martin@globalflyfisher.com or reply to this mail. A reply goes to a mailbox that I only check once in a while, so don't worry if I don't return to you right away.
