This version is an extension (literally) of the Danish sea trout fly the Omoe Brush. It features an extended tail, tied with simple, home made shanks.

Red or brown 6/0
Tail hackles
Two red golden pheasant shoulder feathers
Body hackles
Four red golden pheasant shoulder feathers - two in the rear, one central and one in front
Flash
One straw of pearly flash of your choice. Goes in between the two rear hackles.
Dubbing
Any long fibered tan or rusty dubbing. I use musk ox. Rabbit or hare will do.
Head
Varnished tying thread.
