This version is an extension (literally) of the Danish sea trout fly the Omoe Brush. It features an extended tail, tied with simple, home made shanks.

Shanks | DIY shanks from thin wire (see article) |
Thread | Red or brown 6/0 |
Tail hackles | Two red golden pheasant shoulder feathers |
Body hackles | Four red golden pheasant shoulder feathers - two in the rear, one central and one in front |
Flash | One straw of pearly flash of your choice. Goes in between the two rear hackles. |
Dubbing | Any long fibered tan or rusty dubbing. I use musk ox. Rabbit or hare will do. |
Head | Varnished tying thread. |
