Body hackle
Red body feather from golden pheasant. The fibres should be 1.5 times longer than the body.
Wing
Originally only golden pheasant tail fibres over golden pheasant tippet. The updated version also includes a supporting underwing of yellow white tipped squirrel. The wing should be flat, laying low over the body and just exceeding the hook bend.
Throat
Small bunch of teal fibres.
