Body hackle | Red body feather from golden pheasant. The fibres should be 1.5 times longer than the body. |
Wing | Originally only golden pheasant tail fibres over golden pheasant tippet. The updated version also includes a supporting underwing of yellow white tipped squirrel. The wing should be flat, laying low over the body and just exceeding the hook bend. |
Throat | Small bunch of teal fibres. |
