Fly tying - Tie Better
A new feature fly with downloadable tying instructions has been posted at http://www.flyfishohio.com. The featured fly is the Brooks Blonde. The tying instructions, a monthly feature, are part of an in-depth article on the Blonde, its origins and effects on fly design over the last 50 years. Enjoy! Joe C.

Warm water outflows
Forums:
Fly fishing - Fish Better
Yesterday I went to the warm water outflow on the Potomac River in Dickerson, Maryland. I assume that I was there on a bad day. The pressure was dropping and all of that other bunk. There were both Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass everywhere. Mostly Bigmouths. (Where the water flows out of the power plant is a canal that has been turned into a kayak slalom course. I was told that some of the national team use it to practice.) I caught one each of both species of bass, one Crappie, one Bluegill and one Warmouth. I fished for three hours and used everything in my vest.

UK Grayling fishing

Fly fishing - Fish Better
Having read some of the posts on here, it seems that Grayling are popular with you guys. The UK, and in particluar Wales has some excellent fishing for the lady of the Stream, at very reasonable prices. Good water will cost around 10 euros a day, but you can get cheaper. Anyone interested in where to go, let me know and i'll give some details. These are some pics of my outing on Saturday Tight Lines Hoppy
