I'm trying to make a choice between buying ceramic bobbins and regular metal bobbins. Which is a better choice for tying saltwater flies? Thanks

Fly tying - Tie Better
Hi! I am a new member. :D I am a beginner to fly tying. I want to start making my own saltwater flies so I can fish for snook and bonefish. What tools will I need to start with except a vise? I bought this vise: http://www.basspro.com/White-River-Fly-Shopreg;-Classic-Vise/product/982... Is it good for tying saltwater flies? Both large and small? Thanks.

WTB - Battenkill LA III extra spool(s)

Fly fishing - Fish Better
Hi all, Just picked up a [u:4994991494][b:4994991494]black[/b:4994991494][/u:4994991494] Battenkill LA III reel and am looking for an extra spool (or two) for it. [u:4994991494][b:4994991494]It's the 4 spoke model [/b:4994991494][/u:4994991494](as opposed to the earlier 3 spoke models). I might also be interested in buying a second reel (to match) if anyone has one available. Wondering if anyone might be in need of some fishing money.? Just reply to this post or PM me. Thanks, Bent rods, FF (aka Rick)
