This fly is built on a size 8 bait hook with the Barbs mashed down. I use this type of hook for the weight.
Hook: size 8
Dubbing: Cinnamon (Antron Sparkel)
Tail Feathers: after feathers from the Partridge Cape in natural
Wings: Partridge feathers from the cape in Natural
Side wings: red Krystal Flash on each side
Eyes: Holographic Gold size 1/4" (7mm)
Head: built with Loons Thin UV fly finish.
Beautiful action in the swim test tank. The tail feathers give the appearance of a real tail swimming.
The Cinnamon Antron dubbing is a beautiful texture and lends itself beautifully to this fly.
