The "Sleek" fly is built on a bait hook size 8. The three barbs were mashed down. I used the fibers from the bottom of two discarded feathers to form the tail and under wing. A Guinea purple feather was palmered forward to form the body. A size small copper wire was used for the rib. I used a pinch of medium Coastal Deer hair as a upper wing giving the fly some flare. It is a wet fly that swims beautifully. The fly sits on a piece of drift wood that resembles a bull's head.
